Tutorial Learning Center

Student Help Available at all times in the TLC!

August 30, 2006

Have you ever run out of ink in your printer at home?  And the paper is due the next day? AND it's midnight?  Have you ever got to school and forgotten your note cards for your research paper? Have you simply needed a quiet place to study? The Tutorial Learning Center (TLC) located next to the Learning Resource Center (LRC) is the place that can help you out in these and many other situations.

If you have had excessive absences due to illness, or just feel like you are falling behind in class, the TLC can be there to help you get your feet planted firmly back in the classroom and caught up with your peers. The TLC can help students with alternative learning styles understand material from their individual classes.

If you have missed a test and need to make it up, students can make arrangements with their teachers to take the test in the TLC as well.

Regular classroom supplies from pencils and pens, to notebook cards and paper, folders, and even rulers, crayons, and scissors are available for use from the TLC. The TLC also has Study Aides that ranges from audio and video taped books, study guides, project materials, novel study materials and test preparation materials.

The TLC is open at 7:30 a.m. daily. It closes at 3:30 p.m. each day. Students can also make alternative arrangements with the TLC staff if additional hours are needed.

Staff in the TLC for the 2007-2008 school year is Mrs. Dixie Schroeder.
