Girls Soccer Kicking It Up!
Congratulations to the girls soccer team for winning the IVC Sectional on Friday night with a score of 3-0 against Williamsville. The girls will play on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Urbana University High School. They will play on the west field at the University of Illinois Campus Recreation Turf Fields which are located at the corner of 1st and Stadium in Urbana. This complex is just west of Memorial Stadium.
Fans may park along the street and in the parking lot to the south of the complex off of 1st street for free. There are metered spaces which must be paid in the lot to the east of the field. Be careful not to park in UI reserved spaces as those have a $50 ticket. Look for the IHSA Soccer Parking Signs for free parking.
Cost is $5.00 per person; a baby in the arms is free. Bleacher seats are available but are limited. Chairs are encouraged but must be kept off of the turf. Concessions will be provided by the Uni High Athletic Booster Club.
