Hannah Bachman and Dane Stier represented Princeton High School at October’s Bureau County Teen of the Month luncheon held on Friday, October 16, 2009, at the Princeton Elks Lodge. Both seniors attended the luncheon with their parents. Hannah is the daughter of Beth Gerig and Dean Bachman of Tiskilwa. Dane is the son of John and Joni Stier of Princeton. Dane’s special guest at Friday’s luncheon was his grandmother, Mary Clem.

Hannah received special honor on Friday by becoming the female Elks Teen of the Month for Bureau County. She will be interviewed on WZOE next week. Hannah’s activities this fall includes cross country, a lead in the fall play, “Jabberwock“, marching band, Madrigals, and concert choir. In addition to her fall school activities, she is continuing lessons in dance and piano. Her college plans include attending either Goshen or Hesston College and majoring in secondary education.

Dane is busy this term with his responsibilities as drum major for the PHS marching band. His fall activities include German Club, Movie Club, and Food Club. His future plans include receiving an advanced degree in math, science, or engineering, and then entering the secondary or post-secondary teaching field.
