Success at Contest!

Congratulations to the PHS Concert Band for their outstanding Division I performance on April 11, 2008 at the IHSA Organizational State Music Contest!

This year's band performed at 7:00 p.m. at Illini Bluffs High School in Glasford, IL. Contest judges for the area of "Performance" were George Graves, Matt Chapman, and Larry Stoner. The "Sightreading" judge was Peggy Bonner.

We performed the following pieces: Fanfare and Evocation, John Moss; Shannon Falls, mvt. II from suite SEA TO SKY, Ralph Ford; and March: Celebration and Glory, James Swearingen.
