Tickets on Sale for "PIPPIN"

PHS Musical March 14th and 15th

Reserved seating tickets are now on sale for Princeton High School's spring musical "PIPPIN". The musical will run Friday and Saturday March 14th and 15th in the Sally Skinner Council Auditorium. Curtain Time is 7:30 p.m.

There are several ways to reserve seating for "PIPPIN". First you can call the high school at 815-875-3308 ext 375 and leave your ticket order message. The tickets will be processed and you will be contacted as to final costs. Second, you can stop by the high school main offices and fill out a ticket request and leave payment. Third, you can e-mail dschroeder@phs-il.org and submit your ticket request over the e-mail. All prepaid tickets will be sent out to purchasers. Tickets are $8.00 each. PHS students will get in free with the presentation of their student ID. 

Tickets will also be on sale at the PHS Box Office. Tuesday and Thursdays the box office will be open from 7:30-7:55 a.m. and Wednesday and Friday the Box Office will be open 2:45-4 p.m. The box office is right by the auditorium on the second floor of the school. 

As an additional treat to the festivities, the Princeton Public Schools Foundation  will be having a desert and beverage sale from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and during intermission each night of the performances. Pies, cakes, cookies, water, tea, coffee and soda will be sold. The Foundation will be hosting this event directly outside the Sally Skinner Council Auditorium. 

"PIPPIN" is the story of the son of King Charlemagne as he searches for his identity and the meaning of life. First produced in the 1970's, this musical has won many awards and is currently the 26th longest running show on Broadway. Over 50 PHS students are involved in the production of this event. Director of the show is Ron McCutchan. Vocal Music Director is Joy E. Schertz, Instrumental Music Director is Jennifer Abernathy. Technical Producer is Dixie Schroeder.
