PHS Scholastic Bowl Hosted NCIC Tournament

Princeton High School hosted the annual NCIC Scholastic Bowl Conference Tournament on Saturday February 9th. Twelve NCIC schools participated in this annual event. Morning competition had the Reagan Divisions schools testing themselves against each other while the Lincoln Division Schools did the same. Princeton High School won the Lincoln Division event while Sterling High School won the Reagan Division. The afternoon rounds then went for the "King of the Hill" and overall Conference Championship. Princeton High school made it to the final match and took second place overall to Dixon High School.
All Conference team members from Princeton High School included Lincoln Division's Andrew Pfundstein who led all students with 27 toss up questions answered correctly. PHS's Luke Zehr also earned All Conference honors. The Princeton High School Scholastic Bowl team includes Shelby Wagner, Kaitlyn Bettner, Shreyas Patel, Martin Grahman, Amanda Corbin, Emalie Cotter, Andrew Pfundstein, Luke Zehr, Vanessa Kinsley, and Mikey Davis. Sponsor and coach is Mrs. Tameran Polowy.
