PHS Elks Teens of the Month
November 09, 2007
The Elks Teen of the Month representatives for the month of
November are Annalise K. Eckberg and Sean T. Castner. Annalise,
Sean, and their parents will be honored at a luncheon at the
Princeton Elks Lodge #1461 on Friday, November 16, 2008. Nominated
students from other Bureau County high schools will be represented,
also.
Senior Annalise is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Eckberg.
While at Princeton High School she has earned a perfect grade point
average, and is a two year member of National Honor Society.
Annalise is a section leader in the PHS choir, and sings with the
Star Spangled Singers, Jazz Choir, and Madrigals. She is a board
officer in Thespians, and has had roles both on and off stage in
PHS plays and musicals. Additionally, Annalise finds the time to
play the cornet in the PHS Band. She has earned service hours by
participating in Big Brother/Big Sister and traveling with her
church on mission trips. Her aspirations are to attend the
University of Illinois and major in chemistry/pre-pharmacy.
Annalise would like to become a pharmacist or pharmaceutical
researcher.
Sean is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Castner. He is an honor roll
student and National Honor Society member who has earned the
honorable distinction of having perfect attendance. Sean chaired
Development of the 2007 Tiger Yearbook, and has earned Quill and
Scroll membership for donating many volunteer hours to yearbook
development . He is a Thespian Board Member, and he has been
involved in PHS theater productions each year. Sean is an active
member of the PHS Band where he serves as band historian, band
council member, and the section leader for the low woodwinds and
cymbals. His hobbies include photography, CAD design, and
puppeteering. Sean even started his own crafting business at age
eleven. Sean plans to attend the University of Illinois-Chicago or
Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in Industrial
Design.
