Student Council Attends Conference
"Bowl Over Bullying"

The Princeton High School Student Council attended a leadership conference on Friday November 2nd. Sponsored by the NCIC, "Bowl Over Bullying" was a conference designed to help educate students on how to effectively express oneself, ideas and goals. These basic skills also help students become more effective leaders in their own high school as well as in their extended community. The Welcome Speaker for the event was Mr. David Leedy, Leedy has been characterized as one "of the most enthusiastic positive, and motivating forces in the State of Ohio." His master story telling skills help illustrate major points of leadership within ourselves that can be pulled to the forefront.
Host Mendota High School also scheduled Breakout Sessions for students to attend. Twelve Student Council members attended the conference which included Aaron Kaufmann, Laura Krabill, Stephanie Bonucci, Kaitlyn Peterson, Gwen Holmes, Leah Shaw, Hank Egan, Jon Fisher, Molly Torchia, Brooke Davis, Zach Clark, and Jacob Smith. Kaufman, Torchia, and Smith also had the opportunity to help write a behavior creed for the NCIC that will be read before all sporting events in the NCIC conference. The Princeton High School Student Council is sponsored by Mr. Marc Pollok.
